Blaze School Advisor

Cecilia brings extensive experience in education and community engagement to the Blaze School Advisory Board. She began her career as a teacher at several Texas schools, advancing into school administration as principal of Cathedral School of Saint Mary in Austin, where she focused on fostering academic excellence and holistic student development. Later, as managing director of community relations for St. Gabriel’s Catholic School, Cecilia continued her work to create inclusive, high-quality learning environments.

A former member of the State Board for Educator Certification, Cecilia has also contributed to shaping professional standards for Texas educators. In addition to her role with Blaze School, she serves on the boards of several organizations dedicated to education and community betterment, including the University of St. Thomas and Huston-Tillotson University. Her dedication to empowering students, supporting educators, and uplifting communities aligns closely with Blaze School’s mission and values.
