Mrs. Kent has been blessed to enjoy a varied educational career as a homeschool mom, adult special education instructor, school founder and administrator, and most recently, high school history teacher. History is her favorite subject to teach and to learn, and she is excited to explore history with Blaze students. Studying history equips us for life, since everything that will occur in our lifetime has occurred before. Solomon expressed it well when he said, "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."
Mrs. Kent holds a B.S. from the College of Health and Human Sciences at Kansas State (go Wildcats!), and a Graduate Certificate from SMU in Dispute Resolution. She married a Texan, which means they ended up in God's favorite spot, the Texas Hill Country. They are living the dream in Spicewood, especially every time their three grown children visit with their families.
